A couple years ago we acquired this fountain from someone who just wanted to get it out of their yard. The bottom pool layer was not salvageable so we brought home all the other pieces. I reconfigured the pump system so it was running without the missing bottom layer. It worked, but not ideally. Water would splash out and it could only run for about an hour before it needed to be refilled. So this year I decided to reconfigure a bottom pool to allow the fountain to run the way it was intended.
Take a look at the video which shows all the steps and construction.
